Gin Basil Smash

perfect for summer, but enjoyable all year round. The green scent of basil blends with the freshness of lemon and the botanicals of gin, offering a balance between citrus, herbaceous and sweet. It is an ideal drink for those looking for something refreshing but sophisticated.

Ingredients (for 1 cocktail)

  • 60 ml Fuckingin
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml liquid sugar
  • 4-5 basil leaves
  • Ice

Preparation

  • add the basil leaves, lemon juice and liquid sugar to the shaker
  • Place the leaves with a pestle to extract the aromas of the basil
  • Then add the gin and ice and shake vigorously for 7 seconds
  • Pour the contents into the glass (filled with crashed ice) using the double strainer technique to filter out even the smallest parts of the basil leaves
  • Then garnish with a basil leaf

Preparation tips

  • Use good quality spirits to ensure a balanced and pleasant flavor
  • Usa basilico fresco, preferibilmente appena raccolto o da pianta
  • Per un colore verde intenso, si consiglia di usare 8–15 foglie ed effettuare un montaggio vigoroso 
  • Utilizza ghiaccio tritato o “crushed” per mantenere la bevanda fredda
